PCB has said that they are reviewing the situation. England Cricket Board has also confirmed the contact with Pakistan Cricket Board on this matter.

Earlier, the England Cricket Board had stated that a day before the start of the Rawalpindi Test against Pakistan, many players, including England cricket team captain Ben Stokes, have fallen ill.
The England Cricket Board said on Wednesday that several players from the Test squad will stay at the hotel today. While Harry Brook, Zach Crawley, Keaton Jennings, Ollie Pope, and Joe Root attend practice sessions.

According to Urdu news sources England Cricket Board said that half of the England cricket team’s squad has fallen victim to a viral infection, while apart from them, the health of the support staff is also unwell.
According to the manager of the England cricket team, no symptoms of corona have been found in the players.

According to PCB, the trophy will now be unveiled on Thursday before the toss.

Due to the changing weather in Islamabad, the health of the players became unwell as the England players neglected to wear winter clothes. They were wearing half-sleeved shirts. According to the sources, the health of 7 players included in the England Test squad has deteriorated, but none of the players have a severe fever, and the English players have a common cold and flu complaint. Also, the Test squad member did not have any health problems.

The England team is in Pakistan to play a Test series after 17 years. The first test match of the series will start from Thursday.
