Shaheen Shah Afridi Ruled out of the Test Series Against England: Suffering a knee Injury

Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will be ruled out of the Test series against England after suffering a knee injury in the T20 Cricket World Cup final against England on Sunday.

According to the management, Shaheen Shah Afridi will be unable to play cricket for a long time due to a knee injury. And may not even play the home Test series against England and New Zealand.

 

Haris Rauf must make his Test debut in place of Shaheen Afridi, along with Naseem Shah. Mohammad Abbas will be part of the Pakistan team. According to sources, Shaheen Shah Afridi, who suffered Knee Injury again in the final, will undergo a full medical scan on his home return.

Considering these reports, a rehab plan can be arranged. The team management did not make Shaheen a part of the squad in the three-Test series scheduled against England.

The England Test team is to reach Islamabad on November 27 as per the previously scheduled program by PCB. In these days, due to the possible long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the arrival schedule of the visiting team is also being re-evaluated.

In this regard, the Pakistan Cricket Board is waiting for the government’s advance. According to plan B, the first Test in Karachi, the second in Multan, and the third Test again in Karachi.
