PSL Career of Shadab

Shadab was interested in sports but never focused on making his future in the sport. He visited a local club to play sports just for fun. Over time, he mastered his all-rounder skills. In August 2016 he got selected for Rawalpindi in the National t20 cup 2016. in the T20 cup, he played 5 matches and took 7 wickets with the best match performance on 2/15. his impressive performance in the t20 cup 2016 put a place in the PSL franchise Islamabad United. In PSL 2017, Shadab performance was excellent he played 2 matches and took 9 wickets. His performance led to the Pakistan team.

The year 2020 was great for Shadab Khan. Islamabad United changed their middle order in PSL 2020 and Shadab got an opportunity as a proper middle-order batsman. He proved that he is not only a leg-break spinner but also a good batsman. In this season he scored 263 runs at an average of 37.57 in 9 matches and took 8 wickets.
In 2021, teams needed young captains. Islamabad United appointed Shadab as the captain.

International Career:

On 26 march 2017, he made his debut in International cricket against West Indies. His spell is superb in his debut match and record-making economic bowler on their debut and played an important role in Pakistan’s victory over the West Indies in the 2017 series.
At his good p in T20, he got a chance in the ODI series against West indies. After a good comeback in the ODI series, he got selected for the ICC Champion trophy. CT final Shadab getting lbw to Yuvraj Singh was the best moment of the match. In the 2019 world cup Shadab khan took 9 wickets in 7 matches his performance is below average.
In the 2021 t20 world cup he was the vice-captain of the Pakistan team he is the leading wicket-takers for Pakistan in T20I breaking Shahid Afridi’s record. After he got selected for the 2022 world cup his performance against South Africa match led Pakistan into the WC final. Unfortunately, Pakistan lost this world cup.
